Eagle Vision into People Action
What is your vision and focus? Think
about what it is that makes your heart beat a little faster, puts a
little bounce into your step, and has you singing in the shower. Think
of the one thing that you would jump off a limb for and take some risk
to achieve. Like the eagle, focus on it, build energy around it, and
go for it. Keep in mind, that you won't always succeed, but you will
LEARN how to succeed.
"The tragedy of life doesn't
lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to
reach. It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is
a calamity not to dream. It is not a disgrace to reach for the stars,
but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for."

- What are you passionate about… What do you really LOVE? What do you really want? What do you envision for yourself?
Achieving your dreams demands remaining flexible to accept the unexpected, move on from it, and refocus. If we were only like eagles and could refocus in milliseconds and change perspective without thinking about it
- Think of what your passion is. How many different ways could you be flexible and translate that passion into a related but different vision. How could you 'tweak' it and 'squeeze it' into something else.
Living in the moment... how hard that is! For us it is so hard to stay in the moment and appreciate it without letting the past and future get in the way. How much happier we would be, if only we could live like eagles, and move on unencumbered by our own selves.
- Think of those things from the past that stop you from doing what you want to do. Think about the things in the future that you worry about that may not even happen. Write those things in an imaginary hot air balloon and let them go.
Try to stay alert and alive. It's amazing what drops into your path when you are awake. Being really alive means noticing every step along the way. Alertness also helps you to see potential obstacles in your path so you can avoid them.
- Try journaling every day. It's amazing how journaling forces you to notice the days, hours and minutes.
